The SG6654XHP is a high-performance L3 managed PoE+ switch built for enterprise, campus, and ISP environments requiring strong power delivery, fast uplinks, and advanced routing. It provides 48 Gigabit PoE+ RJ45 ports and 6× 10G SFP+ uplink slots, supporting up to 1440 W of total PoE power when equipped with dual power supply modules. One PSM900-AC module is included by default, while the second redundant power supply is optional. The switch supports physical stacking for increased reliability, allowing up to 4 units to operate as a single system with stacking bandwidth up to 20 Gbps per uplink port.

This model offers advanced Layer 3 routing capabilities such as static routes, RIP v1/v2, OSPF v2/v3, VRRP, ECMP, Proxy ARP, DHCP Server, and DHCP Relay. For multicast-heavy environments, it supports IGMP Snooping, MLD Snooping, PIM-DM, MVR, static multicast routing, and up to 2,048 IGMP groups. The switch is equipped with extensive QoS controls including 8 priority queues, DSCP/802.1p prioritization, WRR/SP scheduling, bandwidth limits, storm control, QoS remarking, Voice VLAN, and smoother performance optimizations.

Its hardware design includes four hot-swappable fans and two hot-swappable power supply slots, ensuring high availability and reduced downtime. Power over Ethernet supports IEEE 802.3af/at with up to 30 W per port, ideal for high-power devices such as access points, cameras, and VoIP phones. Maximum power consumption reaches 1767.7 W when fully loaded with PoE. The device measures 440 × 420 × 44 mm and is rackmount ready.

Performance capabilities include a 216 Gbps switching capacity, 160.7 Mpps forwarding rate, 32K MAC address table, 3 MB packet buffer, and 9 KB jumbo frame support. All six 10G SFP+ uplinks can be used for stacking, providing strong flexibility in aggregation designs.

Layer 2 and L2+ features include link aggregation (static & LACP), spanning tree protocols (STP/RSTP/MSTP), loopback detection, 802.3x flow control, ERPS ring protection, port mirroring, RSPAN, MAC filtering, and comprehensive multicast management.

Security options include port isolation, CPU protection, DoS defense, Dynamic ARP Inspection, DHCP Snooping for IPv4/IPv6, IP-MAC-Port Binding, IPv6 ND protection, static/dynamic port security, storm control, ACLs for L2/L3/L4 traffic, AAA with 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, MAB, guest VLAN, secure HTTPS/SSL, and SSHv2-based CLI access.

The SG6654XHP supports ISP-grade features such as 802.3ah OAM, L2PT tunneling, DLDP, DDM, and sFlow for traffic visibility. VLAN configurations include up to 4K 802.1Q VLAN groups, MAC VLAN, Private VLAN, Protocol VLAN, Voice VLAN, Management VLAN, QinQ with up to 256 entries, GVRP, and multicast VLAN functions.

Management can be performed via Omada SDN for centralized cloud control or directly through a web GUI, console/CLI, Telnet, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, LLDP/LLDP-MED, RMON, DHCP Auto Install, and dual firmware images. Additional functions include cable diagnostics, CPU monitoring, system logs, password recovery, and SNTP time synchronization.

The package includes the SG6654XHP switch, power cord, RJ45 console cable, rackmount kit, rubber feet, and a quick installation guide. The switch supports Windows, macOS, Linux, UNIX, and related operating systems. It operates between 0°C and 45°C with 10–90% non-condensing humidity, and supports storage conditions between -40°C and 70°C.
