SG5452XMPP
Omada 48-Port Gigabit Stackable Lite L3 Managed PoE++ Switch with 4× 10G SFP+ Slots

The SG5452XMPP is a powerful Lite Layer-3 managed PoE++ switch designed for high-density enterprise, hospitality, surveillance, and campus networks requiring large PoE budgets and fast 10G uplinks. It features 48 Gigabit ports, including 8× PoE++ 802.3bt ports delivering up to 90W each, and 40× PoE+ ports delivering up to 30W each. With a massive 770W total PoE budget, it can power Wi-Fi 6/6E APs, outdoor PTZ cameras, smart lighting, conference systems, and other high-power devices with ease. The switch supports Fast PoE and Perpetual PoE, ensuring powered devices stay active even during reboots.

Equipped with 4× 10G SFP+ uplink slots, the SG5452XMPP offers a 176 Gbps switching capacity and a 130.94 Mpps forwarding rate, ensuring smooth data transfer across demanding environments. It also supports physical stacking of up to four units, with stacking bandwidth up to 40 Gbps for redundancy, simplified management, and scalable performance.

L3 capabilities include static routing, RIP v1/v2, OSPF v2/v3, proxy ARP, DHCP Server (up to 64 IP pools), and DHCP Relay—enabling efficient inter-VLAN routing and network segmentation. The switch supports a comprehensive multicast suite with IGMP Snooping, MLD Snooping, Fast Leave, MVR, static multicast groups, and a multicast table capacity of up to 2000 entries.

Built for demanding operations, the switch includes 3 internal fans for cooling and offers robust PoE performance with up to 942.7 W total power draw under full load. Jumbo frame support (9 KB), 12-Mbit packet buffer, and a 16K MAC table contribute to high throughput and stable handling of large traffic volumes.

Layer 2/L2+ features include link aggregation, STP/RSTP/MSTP, ERPS ring protection, VLAN-based and port-based loopback detection, 802.3x flow control, port mirroring, and RSPAN. VLAN support covers 4K VLANs, MAC VLAN, Voice VLAN, Private VLAN, QinQ, Multicast VLAN, Management VLAN, GVRP, and Protocol VLANs.

Security is enterprise-grade with features like port isolation, CPU-Defend, DoS defense, Dynamic ARP Inspection, DHCP Snooping, IP-MAC-Port Binding (1,024 entries), IPv6 security (ND Snooping, IPv6 Source Guard, DHCPv6 Snooping), static/dynamic port security, storm control, RADIUS/TACACS+ AAA, and 802.1X authentication with MAB and guest VLAN. Management access is secured via HTTPS/SSL and SSHv2.

Quality of Service (QoS) includes 8 priority queues, 802.1p/DSCP priority tagging, traffic shaping, strict priority (SP), WRR, SP+WRR scheduling, bandwidth control, Voice VLAN, and traffic remarking.

Advanced capabilities include automatic device discovery, batch configuration, batch firmware updates, intelligent network monitoring, fault alerts, unified configuration templates, and reboot scheduling.

For service providers and large networks, ISP-grade features are available, such as 802.3ah OAM, L2PT tunneling, DLDP, DDM, and sFlow for deep traffic analytics.

Management options include Omada SDN (cloud/hardware/software controllers), a Web-based GUI, CLI via RJ45/USB-C console or Telnet, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, LLDP/LLDP-MED, RMON, cable diagnostics, DHCP Auto Install, dual image, SDM templates, and system logs. Zero-Touch Provisioning is supported with Omada Cloud.

The switch measures 440 × 330 × 44 mm and is rack-mountable. It operates between -5 °C and 40 °C with 10–90% non-condensing humidity. Package contents include the SG5452XMPP switch, power cord, console cable, rackmount kit, rubber feet, and quick installation guide.
